Emily Lee is a 16-year-old girl living in San Ramon, California. Currently, she attends California High School as a sophomore. Emily has a passion for playing the piano and violin as extracurricular activities. For instance, she has participated in the Beethoven Young Musician Competition, United States Open Music Competition, and much more. Some of her accomplishments include receiving third place in Bay Area Music Association’s Music Legacy Open Competition and fourth place in Charleston International Music Competition. Approximately, she has played piano for 10 years and violin for 6 years. Along with private lessons, Emily is also a part of her school’s Chamber Orchestra. During her time with an Orchestra, Emily has grown to love playing with her peers. Besides participating in competitions or recitals, she also enjoys performing for public events, such as toy drives, in her spare time. At the end of the day, being able to overcome all the challenges in music and telling stories through the melodies is what brings her the most joy when playing.
