Feng Kang

Pianist Feng Kang started to learn the piano at the age of ten. He has appeared in recitals and concerts throughout North America, China, and Taiwan. In addition, Feng has appeared as a soloist with orchestras, including Taipei Symphony Orchestra, Kaohsiung Youth Symphony Orchestra, and National Kaohsiung Normal University Orchestra. He was honored to be awarded many competitions, including the Elevato Piano Competition in Poland and National Taiwan Music Competition.

Feng received his master’s degree from Taipei National University of the Arts, where he studied with German Pianist Rolf-Peter Wille. He also received countless scholarship offers from Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University, Manhattan School of Music, Mannes School of Music, and the International Keyboard Institute Festival in NYC. Besides his passion for playing solo repertoires, Feng also dedicates himself to chamber music, piano collaboration, and composition.
Feng is pursuing his doctoral degree with Russian pianist Margarita Shevchenko at Michigan State University.
