Franklin began to take piano lessons shortly before the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic in early 2020. At age 11, after taking a two and half years hiatus, he resumed his piano lessons in August 2022. Over the past year, he had become a more enthusiastic piano learner under the guidance of his current piano teacher. He continued to challenge himself by participating in the Certificate of Merit® program sponsored by The Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC). Moreover, he enjoyed performing in various recitals and competitions as well as playing for friends and families. His passion for piano has grown as he develops more advanced skills and techniques.
