Ian Kim is a currently a highschool freshman and enjoys music. He likes playing, listening, humming music, mainly by his most favorite composers, such as Tchaikovsky and Wieniawksi and much more. Ian started playing the violin around the end of 3rd grade and ever since the moment he gave it a “try,” his fond for the instrument has grown.
He has participated in many different orchestras, such as his own school orchestras, MCYO (Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras), PVYO (Potomac Valley Youth Orchestras), and as well as in Orchestra summer camps for fun. He got a II rating on his Solo Festival of 2020 and won Superior ratings in School festivals. Recently, he began playing for elderly people at a senior center and likes doing it.
