Isabel began to play piano at five and has been studying piano under Ms. Hsiu-Hui Chen since 2018. She has performed at senior houses in Ann Arbor to bring music to seniors during the holidays, and at music showcase events to help raise funds for her school. Isabel has won multiple national/international prizes, including first prize at Salzburg and Amsterdam Grand Prize Virtuoso Music Competitions in 2019 and the Golden Classic Competition in 2021 and 2024, second place in Charleston’s 2022 Romantic Music Competition and a special diploma from the non-profit Palette of the Universe. Outside of music, she enjoys reading and fencing.
