Jason Lee was born in July 2010 and began his piano training at the age of 6. He has been participating in numerous recitals along with a competition, sharing his passion for the piano. At the age of 8, he had his first recital at the Steinway Piano Gallery Beverly Hills performing Minuet No. 2 by J.S Bach. From 2020-2021 during the pandemic, Jason continued to perform pieces including Prelude E minor by Frederick Chopin and March in D major by Anna Magdalena Bach at the Zoom recitals which were conducted by his former piano teacher, Jan Kravats and her colleagues. Last summer in 2022, Jason for the first time had an opportunity to participate in the Satori Summer Music Competition under the guidance of Eun Hee Kang who has been his inspiring teacher/mentor since the year of 2021. From this competition, he won the 1st place at the Junior level (9-11 years) playing Chopin’s Waltz E minor. Recently, Jason has completed the Certificate of Merit Level 3 and passed the test with State Honors.
