
Julia Gentry of Connecticut, USA began formal piano training at the age of 3 years old. Now, at 14 years old, Julia has performed and invited to perform on prestigious stages like Carnegie Hall New York in 2025, Harvard University-Boston, Massachussetts, Mozarteum – Salzburg, Austria, Carnegie Hall-New York, Los Angeles Disney Concert Hall – in 2024, and has earned numerous First Place and Gold Awards, including Platinum Award at the Global International Music Competition 2023, First Place at the Carles and Sofit International Music Competition 2023, Spain, First Place at the 2023 North American Virtuoso International Music Competition, First Prize at the 2023 Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition, Salzburg-Austria, Barcelona Spain, First Prize at the 2023 Golden Classical Music Award Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles-California, Absolute First Prize at Golden Classical Music Awards 2022 and 2021 – Carnegie Hall, New York, First Place at the Canada Red Maple Competition 2022, Gold Hands Award at the Carles & Sofia International Piano Competition Girona, Spain 2022, First Place at the Charleston International Music Competition 2022, First Prize at the Appassionato Quebec International Youth Music Festival 2022, First Prize at Grand Prize Virtuoso 2023, 2022, 2021, Rome, Bonn, London, and Salzburg, First Place at the Carnegie Hall American Protégé International Competition of Romantic Music 2023, 2021, 2020, and 2018, First prize + Exceptional Young Talent Special Prize Winner at the Salzburg, Austria, Germany, Amsterdam 2019 and Paris & Rome competitions. Julia is a Black Belt Don II in Taekwondo and is fluent in French, English, and has basis conversational skills in Japanese and Latin. Julia is currently volunteering her time on teaching and offering piano lessons to blind and visually impaired students by using Braille music notes for piano.
