Ms. Junchan Zhao was born and grew up in Guangdong Province, China. She started to learn vocal, piano, and dance when she was 12 years old. She graduated from music Xinghai Conservatory of Music in South China. In 2003, she moved to Brazil . By invitation, she served as a vocal teacher, performance judge, and one of the organizing committees for various singing competitions for the Brazilian Oversea Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council for four years. Since 2019, she has been continuing her music study in Florida Atlantic University. She got vocal scholarship from the university every semester. She has been a volunteer soprano soloist of Schola Cantorum of Florida. In 2020, she participated in the vocal master class of the American opera singer Grace Bumbry, and her outstanding performance was recognized by Ms. Bumbry with appraisal comments on her musical talents as: “beautiful hight tones and nice German language”. In 2021, Junchan Zhao won the first place of Adult Voice- Classical Tampa Semifinals in Music Internacional Grand Prix competition and was invited to the final. Also, she earned a 2021 Certified Artist Award of CS Music Recruiting. In the same year, she got the first place in the Baroque competition of Charleston international music competition.
