
Kyoka Jansen, a ten-year-old violinist from Chicago, began her musical journey at the age of five studying with Christie Abe Earl. From an early age, Kyoka has displayed an extraordinary passion and love for the violin, deeply inspired by her favorite world-renowned violinist, Midori.
In 2021, Kyoka joined the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra as a second grader and has remained a dedicated member since. She currently performs with the Debut Orchestra, where she had the honor of serving as concertmaster during the 2024-2025 season.
Kyoka’s talent and dedication have earned her recognition in numerous competitions. Her notable achievements include:
