My musical experience began at the age of five, where I was captivated by the violin. As I held my first bow and shoulder rest, I began violin lessons in 2012 at the Rockland Conservatory of Music in Pearl River, NY. Shortly after, I joined the Sol-La Music Academy to further pursue my musical endeavors. As a current member of Sol-La Music Academy, I have been avidly studying the violin for 11 years. My time at Sol-La has allowed me to create friendships and bonds within my ensembles, orchestras, and quartets, and gain valuable skills to help me earn awards such as the 2021 World Strides Virtual Festival Gold Chamber Orchestra Award. I have learned how to create harmonious melodies, discovered my passion for music composition, and even composed several original pieces. Currently, I serve as the associate concertmaster for the Advanced Strings Ensemble, the concertmaster of the EALE quartet, and study with instructors like Benjamin Bartelt and Margaret Lysly at Sol-La. Furthermore I served as the associate concertmaster of the Santa Monica Youth Orchestra (SMYO) as well and was awarded the Level 9 Certificate of Merit award earlier this year. Finally, I work to implement and pursue these passions at school and not just in the music studio. At school, I serve as the orchestra concertmaster, orchestra representative and communications chair on our conservatory arts council!
