Luisa Kay Reyes began studying opera in Mexico City as a child with an instructor who was an opera singer for the opera house in Mexico City. In her early childhood, my concentrations were on piano and ballet. But, as she graduated from high school and college, her singing voice began to blossom. She studied underneath the tutelage of Ed White from The University of Alabama. And one of the highlights of her singing career thus far has been singing in Carnegie Hall as part of the winner’s recital for the American Fine Arts Festival. She is also known locally for her impersonations of Snow White as she sings “With A Smile And A Song” with her little blue bird.
