Luisa Kay Reyes began her piano studies at the age of eight under the great maestro Carlos Alberto Pecero. She continued her studies minoring in piano at Judson College under the tutelage of Mrs. Kapp – Peeples,. And recently came in second place in the Rocky Mountain Amateur International Piano Competition. As well as placing in second in the American Prize for Piano Performance International Competition.
Luisa Kay Reyes made her Carnegie Hall debut singing “Vissi d’Arte” in the Weill Recital Hall as part of the Winners’ Recital for the Golden Voices of America in 2012. She loves to sing and enjoys all aspects of the arts. She performs frequently and accompanies herself on the piano. She is also published extensively in literary journals and anthologies.
