Lyev Pitram started playing the violin when he was four years old, and has now been playing for over a decade. Currently a junior at Science Leadership Academy, Lyev studied with Sarah Schwartz in San Diego, and now studies under Dara Morales in Philadelphia. He has played in many ensembles, including the Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra in San Diego, the Philadelphia Young Musicians Debut Orchestra (YMDO), and the Philadelphia Young Artists Orchestra (PYAO). Lyev is currently a first Violinist at PYAO serving as a Principal Second Violinist the prior year. He also participates in different music competitions, including yearly competitions with the MMYO and PYAO, as well as receiving Branch and State Honors in the 2020 California Certificate of Merit competition.
