Lyev Pitram started playing the violin when he was four years old, and has now been playing for over a decade. Currently a 10th grader at Science Leadership Academy, Lyev studied with Sarah Schwartz in San Diego, and now studies under Dara Morales in Philadelphia. He has played in many ensembles, including the Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra in San Diego, the Philadelphia Young Musicians Debut Orchestra (YMDO), and the Philadelphia Young Artists Orchestra (PYAO). Lyev is currently the Principal 2nd Violinist in his second year with the PYAO. He also participates in different music competitions, including yearly competitions with the MMYO and PYAO, as well as receiving Branch and State Honors in the 2020 California Certificate of Merit competition.
