Michael Zhu

Michael Zhu is a sixteen-year-old baritone-bass at Brookline High School in Massachusetts. He had played the cello for five years before delving into vocal singing at 12 with his elementary school choir. That same year, Michael was accepted as a member of the Boston Symphony Children’s Choir. He performed alongside the esteemed Boston Symphony Orchestra at Boston Symphony Hall and the renowned Tanglewood Festival. Additionally, Michael had the privilege of singing with the Boston Pops Orchestra during their celebrated Pops Holiday series. In high school, Michael sings with the Camerata Honor Advanced Choir; his vocal skill earned him a position at the Junior and Senior District Choir musical festival. By singing at Fenway Park, Brookline First Light, Masterwork concerts, and for the Terezin Music Foundation, Michael enjoys share music with his community.
