Miriam Zhu has been playing violin for 10 years and is currently under the tutelage of Jorge Orozco. She has been a musician in the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras (MCYO) for 5 years and is now a first violinist in MCYO’s Philharmonic orchestra. Miriam was also the principal second violin of the Greater Buffalo Youth String Orchestra (2017-2018). In addition, she was accepted in the Montgomery County Junior Honors Orchestra (2020).
