Rachel Hyerin Lee

Rachel Hyerin Lee began receiving flute lessons at the age of nine and has continued playing the flute for ten years. Currently, she is a third-year undergraduate student studying music education and flute performance at the Hugh Hodgson School of Music (University of Georgia), under the instruction of Professor Anglea Jones-Reus. She is currently performing in the UGA Wind Ensemble and has performed in the UGA Flute Quartet. This past summer, Rachel attended the Bay View Music Festival in Petoskey, Michigan, performing in the “Vernor Five” woodwind quintet. As a first-year college student, she received Third Prize in the American Music Talent Competition and performed in a masterclass led by Rhonda Larson during the 2021 Montana Flute Festival.
