Rachel Wang

Rachel Wang, nine years old, started her piano journey at the age of three. Rachel is kind, respectful and conscientious and her positive attitude toward learning allows her to achieve numerous 1st places awards in local and international piano competitions. She hopes to be a great pianist in the future.
Some of Major awards and Honors:
–Received 2018 Canadian Young Artist Standard of Excellence Award
–1st place–Frank Liszt International Youth Piano Competition 2019
–1st place–2019 Crescendo International Youth Music Competition and invited to perform in Carnegie Hall, New York.
–1st place–The 7th 2019 COCAA International Piano Competition
–Performed at the 6th 2019 annual Beat Goes on Charity Gala as specialist guest
–1st place– 2021 Canadian Music Competition
–1st place–2022 Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festival Piano Concerto. Awarded Mrs.Helena Li Medallion, presented for the highest mark in Piano Concerto.
–Represent the pianist under the age group of 14 in British Columbia participate the 2022 provincial piano competition when Rachel was 8 year old.
–Achieved 2022 Steinway Cup Champion Excellence in Performance.
–The youngest pianist entering final round of the 28th world music competition
