Born in South Korea, I was raised in both Los Angeles and Seoul, Korea when I was young. I attended to Sunwha Arts High School and graduated from Ewha Womans University as bachelors of music. I studied masters of music in Northwestern University, Bienen School of Music as a bassoon performance major with a full scholarship of Bentley T. Handwork Scholarship and also holds a performance certificate from DePaul University. Currently, I am a member of Civic Orchestra of Chicago and substitute with several orchestras such as Kimpo Philharmic, Kangnam Symphony and even with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
