Shangyang Xia, a musical prodigy whose journey began at the age of six, displays an exceptional talent for the piano. Her remarkable achievements include first-place wins and one second-place win in the prestigious “Golden Classical Music Awards” International Competition in 2019, 2022, and 2023, affording her the privilege of performing at the illustrious Carnegie Hall. Complementing these triumphs, Shangyang secured third place in the American Protégé International Piano & Strings Competition in both 2020 and 2021, and earned a distinguished second-place finish in the Grand Prize Virtuoso category at the 2021 International Music Competition “London.” Beyond music, Shangyang is an accomplished tennis player and a skilled painter, showcasing a diverse creative spirit. Shangyang is currently sixteen years old and is a junior at Greenhills School in Ann Arbor, MI.
