
Simon Fass lives in Williamsburg, Virginia and takes lessons from Sharon Stewart. Playing the hammered dulcimer, he provides music at weddings and has accompanied his Irish-dancing sister with reels, jigs, and hornpipes. On the piano, he enjoys rock ’n’ roll, classical, and jazz music and performs duets with his sister. In 2025, he performed at the Reina Sofia Music Hall in Madrid under the tutelage of Denis Lossev. He has competed and placed in the winner’s circle in both the Sonata Festivals and Bach Festivals of the Richmond Music Teachers Association (RMTA). He performed in New York’s Carnegie Hall Weill Recital Hall in 2023 after being selected by American Protégé. He received the 2022 and the 2026 Outstanding Achievement Award from the RMTA. He enjoys working other musicians and is the piano accompanist of the choir at his church.
