Taya Kim

My name is Taya, and I am a high school student from Washington State. I’ve been playing the piano since the age of five, and have passed all 7 levels of the RCM exam with distinction. I’m currently preparing for the level 9 RCM exam. I was a competitive rhythmic gymnast for eight years but had to quit due to a hip injury. After leaving this sport, I immersed myself in the world of creative writing, where I won a Silver Key for my personal essay from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Additionally, I hope to expand my piano skills by participating in international music competitions.
