Vanessa Loo, a 12-year-old from California. She began her cello studies at age 6.5 and is currently studying with Eric Gaenslen. She participated in her first music competition in 2021 and was awarded 3rd place in the US International Open Music Competition’s young prodigy category. Since then, she has been actively participating in various local and international competitions while also enjoying collaborative performances with the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra in numerous public venues and holiday events. Apart from music, Vanessa finds joy in art, cooking, and writing.
