Warlem Fernandes was born in Espírito Santo, Brazil. He began piano studies at the age of 13. He graduated with a degree in music from the Faculdade de Música do Espírito Santo in 2015, and is currently studying a Bachelor of Music with a degree in Piano. During the course of the Bachelor’s Degree he had as his teachers Mtª Janne Gonçalves, PHD Paula Gálama and Ernesto Silva. In 2015, he was a student at the Center for Pianistic Excellence under the guidance of pianist Miguel Proença. Won international competitions. In 2021 he won the First Prize at the Journey Music Competition-USA and in the same year he won the third prize at the MAP International Music Competition-USA and the Second Prize at the Royal Sound Music Competition-Canada. In 2022 he won first prize at the Royal Sound music Competition-Canada, First Prize at the Twentieth Century Music Competition Charleston Music Competition- USA, Second prize King’s Peak Competition- Canada, Second Prize Four Notes-Abu Dhabi, United Arab
