Yihan Hong, seventeen, from Toronto, Canada, started learning the piano at the age of five and has been practicing the instrument for 12 years. She is passionate about music and enjoys playing piano. She has participated in numerous national and international competitions. She won first place in the Elite International Music Competition (2023), second place in Crescendo International Competition, Second Place (2023), second place in American Protégé Music Competitions (2023), first place in American Fine Arts Festival (2023) and third place in Charleston Spring Music Competition (2023). She also received numerous awards in lots of school, regional and provincial piano competitions. She likes photography and travel in her free time.
