Yiqing Zhang

Yiqing Zhang was born on November 9, 2007 in Beijing, China. At the age of eight, she began to learn the flute from the flutist and virtuoso teacher Ding Lei.
In 2018, she was invited to participate in the opening ceremony of the Hamina International Military Music Festival in Finland.
In May 2019, she participated in the 5th European Court Music Awards International Music Competition and won the first prize in Group A of Flute Junior.
In July 2019, she was admitted to the Youth Orchestra of the Galaxy Art Troupe of CCTV and served as the chief of the flute department of the orchestra.
In October 2019, she was admitted to the Beijing BMF Children’s Festival Symphony Orchestra, and participated in the performances of the 22nd and 23rd Beijing International Music Festival with the Beijing BMF Children’s Festival Orchestra.
In 2020 she was admitted by Central Conservatory of Music Middle School and has been learning flute playing instructed by professor Ling Li.
She was guided and trained by several domestic and international flute masters since She started learning flute playing, won the first prize in various domestic art festivals and flute competitions many times.
