Yunfei (Joanna) Huang

Joanna Huang, age eleven, is a 5th grader in Open Window School in Bellevue, Washington. She started playing piano at age seven and studies with Dr. Ivona Kaminska since then. Joanna loves playing piano because it brings joy and comfort to herself and her audience.

Some of Joanna’s achievements include the First Place in Crescendo International Music Competition 2022, Gold Medalist at the 2022 Bach Festival, Gold Medalist at the 2022 Virtuoso Artists Festival, Silver Medal Award in the 2021 Bach Festival, Silver Medal Award in the 2021 Virtuoso Artists Festival, and Silver Medal Award in the 2021 Classical Viennese Festival.

She enjoys sharing her music, especially chamber music, with her community and bringing more and more people to know and love classical music. Outside music, Joanna also enjoys painting, swimming, and solving Rubik’s cube.
