Alexis Mitrushi, Olivia Chaikin, and Emelyne Lobel

The Village Trio is a Flute, Viola, and Harp trio which formed in the summer of 2022. The members are Olivia Chaikin (flute), Alexis Mitrushi (viola), and Emelyne Lobel (harp). All three are graduate students at The Mannes School of Music. Olivia Chaikin is from Sacramento, California, and studies with Elizabeth Mann of Orchestra St. Luke’s and the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. Alexis Mitrushi is from Houston, Texas, and studies with Daniel Panner of the Mendelssohn String Quartet and New York City Opera. Emelyne Lobel is from Lille, France, and studies with Barbara Allen of American Ballet Theatre. The trio is involved with Mannes’ community outreach program, and they are also members of the Westside Chamber Players. The Village Trio can be seen at upcoming concerts in New Jersey and Manhattan.
