Brian Lantz(Piano), Sarah Hong(Violin), and Amy Lantz(Cello) are musicians and friends attending the same high school that formed ‘Trio Vivo’ in spring 2022. They have been playing their respective instruments for years at Vienna Music Institute coached by Dr. Seong-Hyang Kim, Bella Kim and Sangwon Cho. Also they have been actively playing in school and local orchestras and competing in various competitions. As a trio, they earned the first prizes in ensemble category from Charleston International Music Competition in 2022 and 2023 and International Youth Music Competition in 2023, and the second prizes from Southwestern Youth Music Festival in 2022 and 2023. Moreover, they participated in a benefit concert and made a donation to a local children’s hospital. Additionally, during the summers they volunteered at local music camps to assist young musicians. They look forward to learning more repertoires and continuing their musical journey as chamber musicians in the future.
