Christian Lin is an 11-year-old 5th grader from California, USA. He started taking piano lessons with Mr. Chun-Yi Wang when he was 6 years old. In 2022, he won first place in the open solo category for his age group at the Satori Strings Summer Music Festival, and the 1st place at the Contemporary Music Competition at the Charleston International Music Competition. In 2023, he won the Gold Medal at the AADGT’s International Young Gifted Musicians Festival “The Passion of Music 2023” competition and performed at the Winners’ Concert at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in June. In addition, he also won second place at the American Protégé International Piano Competition and performed at the Winners’ Concert at the Weill Recital Hall at the Carnegie Hall again on Christmas Eve. Besides the piano, Christian also plays the violin and the pipe organ.
