Christian Lin

I am nine years old. I started taking group music lessons when I was four at the Diamond Bar Yamaha School of Music in California. Two years ago, I completed the group lessons and transitioned into taking private lessons with my teacher, Mr. Chun-Yi Wang. I have progressed a lot since. In Summer of 2021, I won first place at the Satori Strings Piano Competition, as well as 1st place at the Southwestern Youth Music Festival (SYMF). In addition, I entered Charleston International Piano Competition’s 2021 International Piano Competition, and was honored to win the 3rd place.

This past summer, I placed 1st in the Open Solo competition for my age group at the Satori Strings Music Festival. I enjoy playing the piano, and I also share my passion for music with my church by playing the piano at Sunday services.
