Clark Fan

Clark Fan, age 13, lives in Charlotte, NC, and is a seventh-grader at Charlotte Latin School. His music journey started with piano. He has won first prizes at Piano Solo State NCFMC Scholarship Competitions and Regional Concerto competition last few years. He also won 2018 Division I Steinway & Sons Piano Competition. Later he fell in love with cello. He became the student of Alan Black (Principal Cellist of Charlotte Symphony Orchestra) at the age of 10. Currently he is the principal cellist of Preparatory Orchestra at Youth Orchestra of Charlotte.
